Sara graduated from Watertown High School in 1996, and Syracuse University in Music Education in 2000, and received a Master's Degree in Reading Education from Suny Potsdam in 2003. Sara spent 14 years teaching various levels of music in multiple schools throughout the area. In 2015, Sara joined Black River Paper Co. in the office and became Vice President.
Sara is married to Steven and they are members of a local catholic parish, Sara is also a sister in the Legion of Mary, and an lay member of the Sisters of St. Joseph.
Steven graduated from Watertown High School in 1991, and from Cazenovia College, Cazenovia, NY in 1993 with an honors degree in Business Management. He became a salesman for the firm in 1994 with responsibilities for both inside and outside sales. In 1997 Steven became the Sales Coordinator and officer of the corporation. In Oct. 2015 he became President and Treasurer of the Corporation.
Steven and his wife Sara are avid history fans and historical reenactors in the French and Indian War Period. Steven is also currently in the Formation for Leadership Program for the Diocese of Ogdensburg
Stewart began his career with the firm working in the shipping room Summers while in high school. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1967 with honors from Franklin College, Franklin, Indiana in 1971. He joined the company full time after graduation working inside as a sales associate and later as an outside salesman. He became the Sales Coordinator and an officer of the corporation in 1978. When his father Homer Perkins retired in September 1989, Stewart became President. Stewart retired in Oct. 2015 and now serves as Chairman of the Board.
